Disclosure: GlowUp Face publishes this page and sells one of the reports compared here. That gives us a financial interest in how the comparison is scored.
The right QOVES alternative depends on what you want to replace. Pick The Face Report for an instant face score and measured geometry. Pick FaceAge for a low-cost report without an attractiveness rating. Pick GlowUp Face for visible skin signals and hairstyle previews. Keep QOVES if you want specialists to review several photos and support a deeper protocol.
These aren't interchangeable products. QOVES sells an annual, human-reviewed service. The other three sell automated browser reports with narrower scopes and much faster delivery.
QOVES alternatives compared
| Attribute | QOVES | The Face Report |
|---|---|---|
| Report and review | Specialists review the analysis. The membership includes a written facial-aesthetics report, improvement protocol, biometric scores, visualizations and care-team messaging. | The product page describes AI analysis, not a human review. The full report covers 40-plus measurements across seven regions, styling guidance, previews and a four-week plan. |
| Turnaround and photos | Up to 28 days after six clear photos from specified face and head angles. | Free geometric results are instant. The paid report is usually ready within a few minutes from one clear, front-facing photo. |
| Rating | The opened pages show several biometric and feature scores. They do not state one overall beauty score. | Yes. The free tool gives a 0–100 face score, plus measured symmetry, proportion and feature results. |
| Free tier | No free personal analysis is stated on the opened pages. | Yes. Its geometric tools run free, with no account or payment. |
| Price model | $150 per year, cancellable at any time. The service updates the analysis yearly while the membership continues. | $17.49 once for the web report and emailed PDF. No subscription. |
| Platform | Web upload and dashboard. No consumer mobile app is advertised on the opened pages. | Browser-based web report. |
| What happens to the photo | QOVES collects photos and detailed customer history to prepare the report. Its privacy policy permits data use to refine machine-learning systems and gives no fixed retention window. | The free geometric scan stays on-device. Paid-report uploads delete within two hours; a private copy remains up to 12 months or until you delete it. |

Where the other tools are stronger
QOVES is stronger when you want a person involved. Specialists review several angles, prepare the report and support questions through care-team messaging. Its annual plan also updates the analysis and protocol. None of the three automated alternatives offers that same combination.
The Face Report is stronger than GlowUp Face when you want an explicit 0–100 face score. It also exposes many geometric readings and draws measurements on the image. GlowUp Face deliberately won't give you an attractiveness rating.
FaceAge posts a $9.99 one-time price. It also says face mapping happens in your browser and the transmitted styling copy isn't stored. That is a cleaner fit if your question is about proportions and you don't want a beauty score.
GlowUp Face is narrower than QOVES. It focuses on visible skin signals, photo framing and hairstyle options. One purchase buys one report, not annual support or automatic progress tracking.

What an automated report cannot replace
An automated report can sort measurements and generate suggestions quickly. It does not give you a specialist who can reconcile conflicting angles or discuss an unusual result.
Pay for QOVES when that human layer is the point. The extra cost makes sense for someone who wants a multi-angle assessment, a detailed protocol and a team available for follow-up questions. Its current plan centers on non-surgical changes.
The Face Report lists a separate AI procedure-preview tool, while its paid report is cosmetic and non-surgical. Treat preview images as visual concepts, not a consultation or forecast. FaceAge and GlowUp Face do not present procedure planning as their core reports.

Illustrative example: choose by the actual question
Suppose you have $20 and need an answer before a haircut this weekend. QOVES misses both the budget and deadline. The remaining choice turns on what you want back.
- Choose The Face Report if you want a face score, visible geometry and hairstyle previews for $17.49.
- Choose FaceAge if you want proportion ranges and a style plan without a rating for $9.99.
- Check GlowUp Face's current regional price if skin signals and haircut framing matter more than facial ratios.
Change the question and the result changes. If you want a specialist to reconcile several angles and explain a long protocol, save for QOVES.
Which one should you pick?
- Pick QOVES for human review, several photo angles, a deeper protocol and ongoing care-team messages.
- Pick The Face Report for an instant attractiveness score, drawn geometry and a one-time web report.
- Pick FaceAge for a $9.99 one-time proportions report without an attractiveness rating.
- Pick GlowUp Face for a one-off skin-and-hair action plan without an attractiveness rating. Review the AI face scan and its limits before uploading.
Do not pick GlowUp Face if you want a native app, reminders, offline use or a built-in progress timeline. Its free preview is partial and asks for an email. It is also the wrong tool if you want a score to compare with friends.
If a mobile habit loop matters, read the broader AI face-analysis app comparison. If your real choice is a score-driven app versus a one-off report, our GlowUp Face and Umax comparison covers that split.
